Intersitials of Thought and Vision

There comes a time in which silence is needed: where anything heard is absent, lifeless, cast out completely. Where colors take over frequencies. Where texture becomes volume. Melodies turn into geometric forms and background noise disappears to find new life as simple lines in the horizon.

Interstitials of Thought and Vision

A lot of times I have asked myself why we retain some images in our mind and not others. Ultimately, our vision is intermittent and in our daily coming and going, we are being constantly stimulated for everything around us. Our vision captures at every single second an image, a setting filled of details, shapes, colors. What causes these images to remain in our mind? Is it a certain combination of elements? Or our emotional state at that moment? There are very few images that remain with us. After all, we discard most of the images we have perceived. There is nothing special about them, they just pass by, lacking any meaning. But I ask myself if I should have kept the one that just went by or not… Maybe it was impossible… was it?
